Need more information...........what is the height variation or fall from the elevation at the top of the stair and where the run would end at the lower landing? What is the length of the run in a horizontal measurement? These are all factors in the code compliant design of the stairs.......not just the width.

Rajesh--I would consult with a designer/architect in your part of the world to correct the reiling deficiency. I cannot speak to building codes in what I am guessing is the far east, but your local architect can. Attachment of the railing, to the floor and to the stairs, in terms of rigidity and support are important, as the rail will slope by the steps, and need to transition to a straight rail at the landing, and terminate into the white wall at the landing. Also, the architect can verify that the steps meet codes in terms of rise and run and the gaps btw. the steps, which would not pass code here in the U.S. I cannot see the while inside wall as you ascend the stair, so all I can suggest is installing a nice piece of art, possibly a triptych, of something culturally fitting for your part of the world. Anita Vitrified tiles by themselves do not particularly allow the walls to breathe, and hence are prone to cracking. That being said they do not collect moss either. If you are however set on using these tiles, I suggest you use them in a mosaic fashion, where smaller tiles or broken pieces are used. This will allow the wall to breathe, though the moss collection might be more due to the greater amount of grating.

sararahim123 What constitutes an adequate illumination level varies from person to person. What exactly do you require illuminated? If its simply ambient light you would have tiny lights as shown that throw light on the stairs itself. If a bit more is required you could consider adding a railing with a light under. If general illumination is what you are going after, but in a muted way, would suggest wall scones that throw light upwards onto the ceiling, diffusing the light.
