Hello, This is the down view to my from my balcony .Is it possible to accommodate a staircase in the highlighted ( black) area .Suggest the design of the staircase. The length of the narrowest part is 3 feet /36 inches.
You will want to check with your local building inspector to verify the code but most stairs require a minimum of a 36" width. It seems you will just squeak by!
2-3 groups of staircase makers visited the site. All were of the opinion that its not possible. So wanted some expert opinion if any other types of stairs can be installed
Need more information...........what is the height variation or fall from the elevation at the top of the stair and where the run would end at the lower landing? What is the length of the run in a horizontal measurement? These are all factors in the code compliant design of the stairs.......not just the width.
