Out door solar shades will work great. They have an open weave that block heat and UV rays but allow you to see out. Your local window treatment may be able to provide you with them. Some come with cable or track guides to keep them from blowing in the wind. Darker shades absorb light and reduce the glare from the shade. Lighter color shades tend to reflect the light and make it harder to see through.
