I love them. What’s not to like about blush pink? The cashmere door looks off white in the picture to me, but it may be my screen? The pink tiles would look great with the grey, but cashmere? It’s one of those colours that can be difficult to place, I’m not sure, but I do love the tiles.

What about Dove grey? Again it’s the same a lot lighter but it’s more grey maybe that would be better

Pick a neutral tile (or a smooth splashback) and paint your walls/ceiling blush pink. Once you're fed up with the pink, you can just buy a bucket and brush/roller and pink be gone.

Personally I think you will have too much going on with the two colour units and the *quite different* colour choice for the backsplash. You need to decide where you want the focus to be? on your units? on your island or on your backsplash? trying to make them all sing it's only going to confuse the eye.

Also will you still love the pink tile in 2 years? what about 5years? Kitchens tend to look dated at around 10 year mark so maybe try and ask if you can see yourself loving them long term. If the answer is yes I love them then you've got your perfect backsplash choice.

Hi Maria, I'm sorry the consensus is not for the pink tiles. Neutral is definitely more flexible. You must make this kitchen your own though and I see a huge opportunity to put some colour on the wall to the right and up around the top of your kitchen. Why not consider a colour here or even wallpaper? Go pink. It makes everyone happy! Then if you colour the walls it's much easier to change than tiles. X
