Ideas for my Kitchen Cabinet
This is my kitchen layout with cabinet designs shown in elevation....As white color is my all time favorite, I plan to have white cabinets with white counter top, including the flooring in white vitrified tiles (laid)...However, I wish to have a dash of any other color to go with white as shown in the image, just to break the monotony, I have mauve or beige in mind...or do you think I just leave it white all over.....Can you please suggest or pour in your ideas....Thank you freinds

there are three way of doing,
firstly
what you have chosen is go minimalist with all white, here you will have to add colors by decorating wall or adding a symbolic decor or art mural/painting which will bring you a joy while working. but if you neglect the importance of art work, the kitchen will be boring to use after 6 months of use. as we enjoy spices in our food , so do our eyes enjoy a sense of catchy colors too.
second will be adding a contrast in with back splash with a back painted tempered glass or corian, this woks wonders.
third, with the color of your choice, which will be permanent in the cabinate, but gives you a fresh sense to the whole kitchen, little color here and there will attract your eye and you'll appreciate your own choice/selection again and again.

instead of going with this layout try something new
first make checklist of your storage as per that decide the provisions you can opt for and one more thing try some new designs which are more user friendly and looks absolutely stunning.
PRO8 years agoI think white is good, there is nothing wrong in all white. Just make sure the materials you are using are easy to clean. For overhead cabinets you can go with corian or lacquered glass as per your budget.
Coming to the colour, i would rather suggest apply some good quality wood laminate on all your open shelve(as i see in your drawings) would again bring some texture and warmth to the kitchen to break the monotony.
