help regarding interior and furnishings
hi friends! have just moved to my new home. need some ideas about enhancing the looks of my hall. it's a builder made duplex and m on a tight budget. so can't do much changes on construction part. need to create some privacy for kitchen. also help me with fabric and colour of curtains to be chosed. I myself love simple and cheerful colours not very bright. hope you will have some great ideas.photos from all angles are added

PRO7 years agoHi, we suggest to keep your home simple and warm and fresh and add a pop of colour in terms of either rugs or curtain or accessories.
attaching some images for your reference
option 1- you can create shelving options on simple white walls to decorate the space.
option 2- you can add one feature wall of a bolder colour than the rest of the walls
option 3- you can panel the sofa back wall with laminate/veneer to add warmth and keep furnishings and fabrics neutral
option 4- you can keep everything very simple and neutral and add a pop of colour in rugs/curtain
option 5- you can add wooden slats to give the house a modern contemporary look.
Pro tip - adding planters will enhance the space and look it look lively and homely at the same time.

also, if you are on a tighter budget and still want some grand feel, you can add wallpapers or big artworks (prints from Shutterstock on a canvas paper and framed to save onto extra costs)
you can add wall mouldings to give it a luxurious feel (ref our recently completed project - BKC for more ideas)

Comments (11)Greeting sir, nice to see your replies....please note this white wall contains unistone red brick work (2.6 inches*8inches)concealed with white sticky tape .done to prevant paint stains as noticed and suggested . about the wall coming out of the slope its not in actual merely an illusion becoz of the taping... also.the red brick work is complimented with white cement....for flooring steel grey granite and s white As planned...im attaching u final finished look wud b like...v wud b putting artificial grass garden besides the right side of the building ground floor.. good to know appreciative responses from you..please suggest another ideas floor plan ill share for sure...See Moresuggestion regarding interior
Comments (24)Deepak sir ,just saw yr plan. Your Toilet that is attached to M.bed can be compromised .It's outer wall seems to be 9" thick. Reduce the bathing space inside by 9" and include that in your balcony. Ofset created an have a front load washing machine, a counter on top to have an extra wash basin. The toilet should have translucent fixed glass and exhaust on top. Hope this helps....See More

from what I see, you sofa has some blush tones and floral patterns so suggest to go for a plain blush/light pastel pink colour curtain.
if you opt for exposed rods, I've attached an image for the do's and don'ts.
I strongly recommend using a pelmet as shown in the first image and hide the rod so it looks neater.
suggest you go for a full height wall to wall length for curtain.as far as pillows are concerned, match it with the blush tones (plain as sofa back is already floral) and some yellow tones throw pillows as I can see that too as the colour of the seat.
suggest you get a nice neutral rug to complete the space.
