Hello Houzzers.. Need a help... Please see attached pictures and advice me , what should be the measurements of my quartz top for the vanity? what should be the depth for my vanity? Is the proposed design for vanity ok?
Thanks for your advice... My only concern is will there be enough space for using the WC after keeping the depth of the vanity at 21 inches? In elevation E 07 ; how much space should be left in front of the WC for it to be used comfortably?
You may need to measure the depth of the WC along with the wall to see the usable space. As per the limited information available your counter should be 1544 X 566 MM (finish size). Actual size may be more if it is mounted on the wall.
You may however want to reconsider this design. Fixed Glass panel that is touching the vanity will leave us with mold collection that will be difficult to clean. Please ask about the handle specification as well.
@Cornerstone designs thanks for your reply will this work if I decrease the size of my quartz to 18" or400 mm rather than 525mm? will there be enough space then , to use the WC comfortably? regards Rahul
hi Rahul, you need 3 by 3 sq feet space for wc, as per layout you are getting it. i suggest you to avoid mirror in front of wc, as nobody wants to see themselves in that condition seeing themselves. also, door should open on other side so it will hide the wc. Your washbasin should be in right of counter as it give you more space to use for placing your things like trimming machine etc. for quartz go for mitter edge as it look thick without any extra line, which is most preferred today by Designers today. please prefer glass partition between washbasin and shower, as to segregate wet and dry area. and if you want to ask anything further or discuss about your design. thanks, Archiera Design, Delhi
thanks a lot for your reply... that mirror in front of WC is a very valid point.. will modify that ... as well as the basin position... thanks again Rahul
