Nikhil, personally I think an entrance stairway like that is a great place to hang personal and family photos, but you don't need to limit it to that, anything can be mixed in that you like. Don't restrict yourself to frame size with a photo either, a small photo with a large mat around it and in a large frame can look really good and can draw the attention in a group of photos. A staircase is one place where more is good too, but getting the balance right is another thing. Search on this website for examples, you will find a lot and use them to get the feel of how to arrange and group your photos. I always suggest having the same floor throughout. It gives it a more ample feeling, consistent and not disjointed. As far as the walls go for the bathrooms we become more creative with special and unique materials for each bathroom and in this case each bathroom has its own personality . Hello Deepa! Greeting from Aprera Designs, You can choose from number of design themes like modern, contemporary, traditonal etc which can be incorporated to your home. And as far as Utility area is concerned, we believe that you want to use that area for washing machine and we don't recommend to have that in kitchen because its an open type kitchen you have. 1. I prioritise on storage ideas. Decor ideas would be grateful too. The Hallway is approx 3 and a half feet wide, 15' long and 10' tall. I would still need space to move freely without banging my leg or toe! 2. One side is a newly made structure with TMT and cement. While the other side is old structure of sandstone slabs and 9 inch walls. 3. The new wall is plain 4 inch. One door at the end, opposite of which is a vent in the old wall. The old wall also has a mid double door and a window plus vent beside. 4. At the other end there's an interior stairway in the old structure with double door. Too many points, I agree. Pictures would help. I have added a rough (not to scale) figure for better understanding. I'd be very thankful. Please suggest.
