i want to put some paintings in my hall, which type of paintings is good for this. also i thinking about to put some old childhood photos in the hall, is that good
Nikhil, what you have is hung way too high. They need to be at eye level, especially for the size. I would group these together as well since they are smaller. Get what you like in paintings, hang them eye level.
I agree with Creeser, about height. It might also be nice if you had a couple of larger photos or paintings, to hang separately or with groupings, because that's a lot of wall space you've got.
Nikhil, art is completely up to you, it's personal so anything you like would be great. Go large for the space. Your walls can handle large pieces. Have fun and use them to express yourself.
Nikhil, personally I think an entrance stairway like that is a great place to hang personal and family photos, but you don't need to limit it to that, anything can be mixed in that you like. Don't restrict yourself to frame size with a photo either, a small photo with a large mat around it and in a large frame can look really good and can draw the attention in a group of photos. A staircase is one place where more is good too, but getting the balance right is another thing. Search on this website for examples, you will find a lot and use them to get the feel of how to arrange and group your photos. Lay them out on the floor first to get the effect you want before trying to hang.
