OK... but the wire wont be lower as it is fixed now. The wire in the pics below is the wall facing each other. They were leveled on equal height but the beam on one wall makes it seem a little above. But i think you guys are absolutely right that up and down lights wont look good there. I think you are right about down lights lessismoore. Would it look good if i go with two different lights on opposite walls??? it would look odd right.

Hello Arsh, Thankfully it's one piece as we were hoping. To tone it down these are our suggestions: The wall behind this needs to be in grey color. Use the lighter shade of your Curtains grey stitch lines in Royale Aspira Paint. Use black and white photo frames on that wall. Combine a number of patterned black and white with bright yellow or blue cushions on this piece and Use a similar throw piece. Use a carpet if your budget permits. Please ask the upholsterers to finish the other sofas properly. The biddings are not straight and they are not there on the entire piece - like handles. Hi Geeta, Victorian theme is all about grandeur and elegance. Here are a few key design elements that would help you achieve the perfect look - 1] Pastel Walls and/or damask wallpapers are characteristic. 2] Wall Panelings for a two tone wall (as in the above picture) or as a pattern on the wall add character. 3] Large sized mirrors on walls work wonders. 4] Upholstery in rich fabrics and pastel colours also contribute immensely. You can also go for red or violet fabrics for a chair or two to add drama. And yeah, lost of cushions! 5] Mixed bag of furniture/ non modular furniture with white and golden polish for arms and legs. Polished teak also works well. 6] Decor items like figurines, vases, bracket lights and crystal chandeliers collected from second hand or antique shops. These days even well known home decor brands keep antique items. 7] Floor length american pleat curtains frame the openings and add layers to the walls. 8] Wooden flooring topped with carpets give the space a cozy feel.
