patterned sofa styling?

ok I admit I don't know what I was thinking when I bought this fabric to upholster the sofa but the sofa is done now. what can I do now to make it look contemporary and inviting?

In One such house in Gujarat, Muninder and Bishakha coloured the old sofa set with whtie (The sofa is like yours) and changed the centre table. Interestingly, the family also had your kind of sofa set and they also want some modern style. The architect duo did not changed the sofa, just changed the colour. Comments (4)Hey Nikhil! You cannot used standard planks to make a herringbone design. The modern wooden planks, whether they are engineered or solid, are made with tongue and notch mechanism, where they are locked with each other and not nailed onto the floor (in India) So if you want herringbone, you will need the tongue and notch on two adjacent sides. So search for herringbone flooring, and you can choose the plank size you want. I hope this helps!...See More
8 years agothis is a single piece. I have two taupe two seaters around it and I intended this to be an accent kind of piece. The walls are white. it's all turned out quite contrary to what I wanted and budget does not allow me to redo it. I wanted to also thank you folks at cornerstone for helping most folks with dilemmas. much much appreciated
