what type of bracket is holding the oars?

I have two full size oars that I'd like to hang but they are pretty heavy. Wondering what these oars are attached to??

    Use a stud locator to figure placement of two large hooks.

    I put hooks into the walls then tied rope loops around them to hold the oars dotototoo, nothing too technical!
