OK... but the wire wont be lower as it is fixed now. The wire in the pics below is the wall facing each other. They were leveled on equal height but the beam on one wall makes it seem a little above. But i think you guys are absolutely right that up and down lights wont look good there. I think you are right about down lights lessismoore. Would it look good if i go with two different lights on opposite walls??? it would look odd right.

Hi Murthy, See from the window reflection in your kitchen, I think that you've got the glossily finished tile for your kitchen. I hope that it's not glossy tiles and probably the light effect in the photo. What kitchen countertop are you planning to select? either side step cabinets must be altered, a low king side bed with storage would be ideal here. even ur metal cupboard once get into the wooden cabinet the space above the cupboards can be closed like a easy loft till the ceiling. so all the clutter n stuff either in loft or bed storage and some in newly altered cabinets.. then comes overall enhancement, like proper curtains with hooks. and clean interior to enhance like cushion or rugs and most importantly some artworks. corner can be lite with a floor lamp..lot more area to play. thanks shradha shah beescheese design

Yep, I agree it's nowhere near Scandinavian. Although I tried hard to emulate it with the resources I had and conflicts with other family members, but oh well. But I'm trying to emulate the Scandinavian theme at least in the paint job. Do you think if I somehow achieved it at least in paint job it won't look good? I really like the color scheme of Scandinavian design. Edit: I really like the minimalism and coziness scandinavian design provies. Although, I do have to mention that I didn't mean to say that the photos that I've posted are necessarily scandinavian. I was just talking about the colors especially the white color.
