Need help in choosing colour of the building walls.
Comments (9)Hi. Since you have such contemporary lines with the linear use of windows, I think your look is contemporary, but with so many windows, you still want a connection to the outdoors. My suggestion depends on whether you want to blend in with your surroundings, or make a statement. If you want to make a statement, I'd stay with a stark white, to contrast the sharp blue. Then use bluestone cut in a random pattern, to play off the blue roof, but keep an organic feel with the movement of the stone. If you want to blend in more with your area, then go with a mid-range gray color on the walls. It will tone down the contrast, and still stay contemporary. Not a dark charcoal, but not a dove gray. I attached a Gibraltar Gray from Lowes, or you might like a little lighter gray. Benjamin Moore has a bit softer gray: Cape May Cobblestone. Good luck! Please post your choices....See MoreNeed help choosing the kitchen cabinet color with counter top !
Comments (3)You are going to have to leave your comfort zone on this one. Walnut is "brown", you have "pink" as a counter top. I would suggest going with another version of the colours already in the room. you have gray/beige and white. I would hesitate going white...but it can be done. You can move into the grays and be very happy (it would look very modern) or you can move into a beige that holds a hint of pink in it (not pink...but a blush of warmth). Or you could go really wonky and add in something like a brushed stainless steel look to the cabinets and have it go "space age". There are specs of blue/gray in this counter top. The next think to look at is an "ashwood" or dark gray wood presentation that has some blue in it. It would lighten the space yet still add drama that dark cabinetry offers....See MoreNeed help choosing the kitchen wall color with the cabinet
Comments (1)What an interesting and attractive kitchen. I'd be reluctant to add a new colour or wallpaper to this already busy palette. Would you consider painting the upper walls the same colour as the backsplash? Are the bulkheads already painted (or panelled)? Good luck from Montreal!...See MoreNeed help choosing bedroom wardrobe color
Comments (6)You must go English. The colour depends on the kind of finish that you want in the sense whether it is veneer or laminate. You get excellent laminate these days. Don’t introduce a dramatic shade, instead opt for something subtle and subdued. Infact if you have a great carpenter glass would be a great option. However it must be toughened and frosted white....See MoreMurthy Gowda
