actually i cant move the dining table close to the kitchen as tahst the main entrance to our house.if i put dining table in that area,the entry would look congested.the rooms adjoining it are gallery which leads to mastre bedroom and another bedroom.

i have a feeling there is a distinct reason for the maid kitchen. thanks celerygirl for the def on a puja room. I don't think we should mess with that either. I like the drawing room. it is contained and allows your company to see exactly what you want them to see. If we are allowed to rearrange rooms, I would move the LR up toward the foyer, then use the current spot as the sitting room or library. I also do not like where the public bathroom is (too many spy novels I guess) I would rather it be closer to the public rooms and not you have to go past both bedrooms to get there. Or maybe, since they are both like master bedrooms have the c and the m open on your new sittingroom/libary? but if you move the living room up, everyone wont be walking through your dining room.

Rohanth, See if this inspires you.. alongwith some of the ideas suggested by RMs above. If its feasible please do away with the grills and replace them with tempered glass. Hello there, Since the basin is in close proximity to the entrance, it needs to be partitioned to ensure privacy. You could go for a pvc jaali/ glass pillar partitions/ planter partitions or similar. Secondly, the basin and mirror are small in size. To give an illusion of space, cover the existing basin's underneath with WPC cabinetry like suggested by Prasath. Also, try placing the towel ring below the basin by installing a SS rail. Replace the mirror with multiple geometric cut mirrors to cover the entire wall. Third, choose a large format tile or faux marble panels / alabaster sheets to replace the blank wall and illuminate it simultaneously. Fourth, change the curtain into something with a lighter shade i.e. bamboo blinds and printed acrylic roller blinds.
