Tore all my hair out, and now this bald lady is saying that the angel above would make a good fifth element, I think, if it's the right size (not too big). It you are considering purchase, try to borrow it first to see. Otherwise, put something in roughly the same size and shape -- scrumpled up paper can work -- in that position. Trust your eye as you did so well with the start of the vignette. I would prefer your original arrangement, with that, to the the second arrangement, in which I think the white is too stark, and the colour too bright. You want a feeling of age and patina, which is what you have in the first arrangement. Also, in the second arrangement, the clock and the couple are overwhelmed by the bright white. My thought about the lace runner is not unconnected with Decoenthusiaste's comment above. I don't think your items are too feminine, but perhaps underscale. But adding a large item won't help; a runner could, by enlarging the footprint (base area).

haha you have a great problem! refer to the attached sketch plan,roughly 12'x6'10" will be your kitchen and utility you can accommodate a fridge, a washing machine, sink for washing utensils. keep it combined kitchen + utility. for guest bedroom, bathroom will be 4'x6'10" exactly, comfortable and as per standards. and my suggestion would be keep the living as living as by going the changes to kichen area you will get a wall where you can mount a TV . and placing a small dining table will serve as breakfast table, and also use your dining room as a study our your own personal leisure space. and about the costing part, there will be a lot of civil work involved , demolition, water proofing of new bathroom, plumbing for bathroom, new accessories new tiles. consider a range amount of 10 lakhs to 20 lakhs depending upon finish, chosen contractor rates and specifications. these are very rough figures.

I am looking for Glass Hob, Vertical Glass Chimney and Built In Oven. I am getting mixed feedback across different forums so thought to reach here (impressed with some of the pointed comments so far). I am planning to choose between Bosch, Elica, Hafele and Faber. Can anyone please help ? I need to finalize it in next 3-4 days. I am purely going by the brand name (plus my previous experience with Bosch) so preferred the following 1). Bosch Glass Hob 2). Bosch Built In Oven (though it has aluminium burner but the one with brass burner 'Hafele/Elica' has the problem of making utensils black) 3). For chimney they do not offer 60cm Filter less chimney hence thinking to choose between Hafele or Elica. Please suggest if this is the right choice. Thanks in advance

The kitchen sink should go towards the corner next to the stove area since the plumbing would be easier due to the bathroom pipeline on that wall. The stove should be moved from there to the basin area but more central. I couldn't zoom in but what is loft above. Anyway, I think you could get rid of that wall and make it a half wall, and include a counter with 2 -3 bar chairs like for quick meals. Puja area, I think would be better elsewhere since there is non-veg food and sometimes alcohol consumption. You could have more like a partition shelf wall between dining and living, need to think more on moving the puja area somewhere else. Also, since the common bathroom is right there, you would not need another basin next to the dining area, its just not a good sight . You could mail me the floor plan and we could work on it more elaborately, but this is simply a skimmed review of the layout. Hope I was helpful .
