Need help with my bathroom and adjoining dress space.
Comments (9)Thanks a lot for your comment. I wouldn't exactly call it a walk in-closet. As you can see from the drawing, Its space provided for two single wardrobe (one on each side). Maximum width can be around 3.5 ft. The humidity point is quite relevant. The question is would it be possible to include a wet room in the space i.e. 6ft x 8.6ft. - considering I don't remove the dress wall. Wanted to get a sense on the possible layout. Thanks and look forward to your advise....See Morebathroom renovation
Comments (8)Hello Het, Why not consider white stone tiles floor and wall to create a seamless look... Wall hung loo and sink for a contemporary and modern look that's really fantastic and sleek whilst keeping the floor clean.. For a shower, wet room style or walk in shower with rectangular tray... Consider beautiful finishes like interesting taps and storage that is not just a mirrored cabinet.. I'll find some images. The focus for the first ones are the fittings.. (the tiles aren't white I know) but to show you what I mean... : )) Shower/bath in stone or concrete... Bathtub!...See MoreBathroom renovation costs/design help required
Comments (3)Following are my comments : 1.Buying cheaper branded sanitary fittings is only possible when you buy the same in bulk quantities. But I would like to highlight that these are one of the most important fixtures in the stated space. Don't compromise on the quality of it if you want them to survive the long run.(You can go for the Jaquar continental series or change to Parryware) You can certainly compromise on the WC & the WB since even brands like Somany give good ceramic fixtures at relatively low cost. There you can save your bucks. 2. I haven't worked on PVC vanity but can comment that marine ply cabinets also stand well for the wear and tear. 3. You can go ahead with just the glass partition avoiding the cubicle door. 4. Yes you can but the selection should be on the lighter side of the colour palette so that the bathroom should not look more claustrophobic due to its small size(2 m x 3.5m which is normal in today's real estate market in mumbai). Comments (6)You are in tight spot in terms of dimensions of the Guest bedroom, there is not much flexibility except for the pantry outside room which can have an additional wash basin as suggested by Nitin from corner stone above. Although, since its guest bedroom, TV viewing might not be priority unless you are looking to use it as your entertainment room for family. If you are planning to use it as entertainment room, then, instead of full fledged wardrobe you can have long wardrobe wall unit upto 2'-9" height for storage & TV/entertainment arrangement & play around the space above. In this case, you need to shift electrical & cable points to wall marked for wardrobe....See MoreCarolina
