The diagonal wood slates are hemlock. Here they are in a form that you probably can not get any more, solid 3x6 in custom milled tongue and groove. They have a clear epoxy finish on them. The thick boards are both the floor finish as well as the floor substructure, something like old barn construction. The red tinted wood is 1x fir.
Chris and can't help you much here. It partly depends on where you live and your supply sources and or your installer. You could start by talking to local flooring contractors or local finish wood supply companies, making inquires about hemlock and fir flooring.
