Help me with my living room ( high roof )
Comments (8)Thanks for ur advice guys ! Is there any other color advice ? Like brown n beige mix . Will it suit the high walls . I seriously don't have any idea as how to use the color . I tried a green on the walls in Photoshop . It looks totally lame but just want to know how to mix the colors . Any suggestion on how and where to use the color will be appreciated . Like dark color on the wall which has the TV and light color on all the other walls or opposite walls with the same color .. Pulling my hair out !!! I wanted to go for the black sofas only cos of low maintainence . It wil not get dirty soon . The one big thing under the staircase is my fish tank . The one near the wall is the TV . Yes we have fans attached on the walls . Since we have a high roof , we cant use ceiling fans . And the house is not equipped with a centralized AC . I just want a color which will helps me relax and will also look modern ....See MorePlease help with ideas for which Caesarstone countertop!
Comments (4)I looked at the brochure but I could not find exactly what color or pattern Caesarstone has in India. I'd like the look of a "marble" Caesarstone for the counters and the back splash with your blue cabinets. I don't know if this is possible, though. I have granite in my kitchen and I the have counter and back splash in the same granite and I have loved it for 15 years. Do they have induction cook tops in India? They are wonderful, too....See MoreAdvice regarding color change for veranda
Comments (23)What a beautiful house, Shahbaaz! I live in a similar house - a 150-year-old colonial bungalow in Kumaon. You have already received lots of excellent advice from better-qualified people, so all I would say is, keep its age and heritage character the central theme. The white tiles do clash, I am afraid ... flooring with terracotta tiles would echo the roof and look lovely. The columns and the arches over the doors and windows are amazing. But I'd say, leave it all chuna-painted - there's a beauty and softness to it. Don't let the painters add too much neel (indigo) in the limewash -- in the hills where I live, they put far too much if I don't watch out and the result is a harsh white. Natural lime has a softer, creamy look....See MorePlease suggest modifications in our living room
Comments (77)I feel partitions are not needed. You already have too much for the space. Adding a partition will shrink the space further. The simplistic solution, you do not wish to discard any furniture would be to paint all the walls in lighter pastles. And use some wall painting frames to highlight certain walls....See MoreRalph Ross
