OK... but the wire wont be lower as it is fixed now. The wire in the pics below is the wall facing each other. They were leveled on equal height but the beam on one wall makes it seem a little above. But i think you guys are absolutely right that up and down lights wont look good there. I think you are right about down lights lessismoore. Would it look good if i go with two different lights on opposite walls??? it would look odd right.

I like the ceiling. I think the hanging lights are too fancy and distract from the ceiling decor. A simpler light would look better or sticking with the canned lights you have. The walls have too many big, black things on them. It's hard to tell if they are windows with shade --- in which case I'd pick something lighter, perhaps to echo the ceiling, TVs (how many do you need?) or what. I'd consider a big piece of statement art in the place of at least one. If you're on a budget, get a large, high quality photo in the right colors, you can take it yourself. Sepia and black architectural might work. I like more color and more natural light. You may have closed the shades for a better picture, so it's hard to comment on the light, plus windows are a feature of your room, not exactly a decorator's choice. I would consider how to get a few small pops of color in, pillows, flowers, candles, maybe even a runner rug along the right wall. If you are doing this as part of a portfolio, the entire ensemble would look more welcoming with a few touches like someone lives there. Something on the coffee table, for example. A few books and a candle. A tray with tea things, a vase of flowers or basket of fruit. Pick one or two things and make it composed. You see this a lot in designer Houzz photos. In One such house in Gujarat, Muninder and Bishakha coloured the old sofa set with whtie (The sofa is like yours) and changed the centre table. Interestingly, the family also had your kind of sofa set and they also want some modern style. The architect duo did not changed the sofa, just changed the colour. You can drop few chairs and opt for a single centre table

I am assuming you haven't finalised your wall colours and colours of any other fixed elements. In case you have finalised your color scheme you would need to see which of these colours blend well or complement with that scheme. Assuming none of this info is available, then you could look at the neutrals which go with all colours. The white tile and the 2 colours at the end would be preferable. If you want color on the floor as well as drama, you can choose from the 2nd options from both sides or even the 1st from left.
