A comprehensive approach to design and implementation of the plans would benefit you in this case. A team of interior designer, contractor and possibly architect (if walls are moving or there is a more involved construction plan beyond decorating what is there and dealing with functional issues related to the interior design). Sequencing of trades and scheduling is the job of the contractor while providing costs for the implementation of design work. Designing and dreaming up solutions is the job of the architect and interior designer. Perhaps they have them in your country. He cut them in half so they were only two feet deep and stacked them up to high counter height. Hi Rahul Satija To answer your question, regarding which material to use for the outsides of your home Terracotta Brick - unless you have used bricks that are meant to be left exposed, ordinary bricks will take in a lot of water and leave the walls damp, and hence not a great idea. You could ofcourse cover it with a veneer of brick cladding but that is something we would not propose. Between wooden cladding and paint, it frankly depends completely on your budget. Wooden cladding looks extremely good but is quite pricey. Our suggestion would be to paint the majority of the home, with highlights in parts in wooden cladding.

There two types of Sound transfer First is through Air borne like person Voice, speaker, sound horn. Second is through Structures like person knocking the door, neighbour people jumping the floor, elevator noise, etc. Yours problem comes under second type. This problem in ceiling concrete floor occurs due to lower steel usage and thickness of the concrete. The exact solution for this problem is to install the acoustic underlayment GETZNER AFM 23 under the Flooring tiles, which is specially designed for this kind of issue. But, it should be done during the construction stage of the building only. It can not be done after construction. If you use Acoustic panels and ceiling tiles, this products will reduce only the noise transferred though Air borne. So there is no solution reduction of this structural borne noise currently.
