What we can tell you without that information is that there are a few points that need to be considered before making that decision Is the builder willing to allow you to change the look of the building (which will happen if you take the balcony inside). Is it a small or a big balcony? Is the view from the balcony good? Is there enough storage space in the house? (all those extra things have to go somewhere) If the balcony is small, you can take it into the room as it will serve no useful purpose. If it is large and you get a good view, use french doors. This way you have the option of making it a visually large space.
