One of my clients had no designated space for puja in their home, and they would have had to squeeze it into a passage somewhere. So when they came to me for ideas, I noticed in the floor plan that they had a beautiful covered verandah overlooking a private garden. The wall of that verandah was towards the east side of the garden. So I thought- why not carve out a rustic simple puja space here? Outdoors? The client was game. Hi Rishab, You can avoid creating 4" false ceiling and create 1.5 / 2" false ceilings just to let the wires hide and run within the false ceiling. I will not recommend conduits or exposee ceiling unless you wish to do a rustic interior design. You can go for Surface mounted lights and track lights. They are beautiful and are available in different shapes and sizes too.

Suraj, If you have access to the room that you shared earlier you can try seeing the flicker effect at night time with both lights and fan being on. If the lamp has a 360 degree light spread it will cast the fans shadow on the ceiling and when the fan is turned on it causes a flikr effect. I personally find it a distraction and at the same time many would not even notice it. Take the pick based on your usage. Wall mounted fans and recessed fans can also be explored.
