Ideas for the wall
Comments (43)This Cabinet is $155 at Ikea. You could take the 4 items you had hung, and put them in a "shadow box", or individual deep frames to tie then together, to create I piece that looks more substantial on the wall, Then add a little ledge for photos, and you would even have room on the cabinet for the cool bottles that were on the floor, and that cool chest could definitely find a home as an end table, or entry table. You could also add a larger plant in a really nice pot in turquoise. The cut and paste renditions arent always completely accurate in scale....See MorePls help
Comments (15)If you are into bright vibrant colors then really go for it.. You started out not afraid of color.. so don't stop now . Make it part of the color on the walls.. so a green, orange black, pink stripe in the green room,, a black/white cobalt giant blue flowers in the blue room .. Add more coordinating colors in the rooms.. Look at all the wonderful Moroccan rooms for inspiration.. Have fun...See MoreNeed ideas for my kids room!
Comments (5)Hello! If you have about 7' of continuous wall space, you could centre a small desk on the wall, then flank it with Ikea Kallax storage shelves. Use their Drona tote bins to corral messy stuff, and leave other cubbies open for the backpack, books, etc. Showing below the 48" wide Josephine desk from World Market - the front drawer can also flip open to come a keyboard shelf. Also comes in other colors. Also, the smallest Kallax shelf in their series (16 1/2" wide). Another possibility, depending on how the room is configured, is to butt the desk up to the foot of the bed. This should allow about 2' of chair space in front of the desk. You then might be able to use a larger Kallax shelving unit. They come in some great colors in the larger sizes - turquoise, pink, etc....See MoreBedroom Makeover Ideas
Comments (18)Hi Anamika, I have the following suggestions: Change your curtains. You can order some beautiful curtain sets from "Yellow dwelling" according to your budget. IMO, the red oxide is a beautiful traditional floor which has a nostalgia factor as these are extremely rare these days. You can dress up your floor with a nice kilim rug/carpet. But for that you'll have to check some options online as they're a bit pricey Also, TBH your room needs a major decluttering process as that's the cheapest way to give your room a "makeover". Change your bedcovers too. Get rid of those tacky stickers from your furniture. Order some classy table lamps or floor lamps from IKEA (budget friendly) and you're good to go. Not sure if applying a fresh coat of paint would be within your budget but that would work wonders for this room. Hope this helps. Cheers! A...See Moremwallenbeck
