you are thinking about the space right now. it looks odd, no doubt. 1) when you fill in with the furniture, just make sure the three steps are hidden. 2) consider three potted plants of different height, so the rectangle is complete. 3) glass bowl with Siamese fighting fish for each step 4) figurines of different heights 5) 2inch square wooden bar on each step up to the top of the rectangle. and complete the entire rectangle if you want with a smaller rectangle open in the center my suggestion is, there is a reason why this space ended up like this. it will look great once you put something there. things like these are what make your house unique.

Dear gy3( is that Gayatri !) Yes, everything is too messy and cluttered plus i am finding your spaces not so big. First, you need to sort out and arrange everything in a very clean and sophisticated manner. Second, use more of light and neutral colours as much as possible as it provides a very serene environment and makes rooms look bigger than they are. Use more of white and grey instead brown and black. That purple wall is also quite dull and boring. Third, replace your furniture if possible with more contemporary furniture's, when your furniture are clean and seamless they helps room look bigger. Fourth, Your ceiling is the worst part. Again go with crisp cut ceiling design if you want to do new or paint everything white if you want to retain it. Fifth, please don't use blue or any other colour lights. Kelly, if you would want it to appear in the center, you may have to add a mirror half way up on the left wall. Adding long barn shelves on the back side will add to the centered look. I have the same kind of bathroom and saw the same video. I used an angle grinder to remove one of the walls. You have to have hearing, breathing, and eye protection. I don't think there is any way to avoid the dust. I'm going to direct a fan to an open window in the bathroom. My sinks are top mount so there was no problem removing it. I replaced the faucet only for now. I also changed out the drain and stopper. The old one was rusted to the sink. I had to bang on it with my loader from my tractor with the sink upside down to get it off, lol. I have put off removing the rest of the wall and the cabinet because it is such an ordeal. You might check with Daltile to see if they still make the tile. Maybe try cutting away the cabinet while keeping the counterop supported and then dropping it so that the joint gets more exposed? I'll be interested to know if you get to this before me but I'm doing an entire gut job.
