Thanks for clarifying Sneha. Its a north facing property so the TV unit is placed in north , are you willing to compromise on that if you need a pooja room in NE. Please include the directions in the plan to avoid confusion. A four seater dining may not be of much help as the width of the table remains approximately same its only the length that is reduced. We also need to maintain safe distance from the TV unit plus we have a french window on the west side. It may require some structural changes, in discussion with your designer, to the plan to accommodate a pooja room without compromising on the looks. Are you willing for that. Thanks, Nitin Cornerstone Designs.

Need to transform the look
Q

First, the furniture is too traditional for a modern look. I would go for a light, airy look to take advantage of the oodles of natural light. Can go for Scandi designs. Look at Ikea for simple inspirations. Would also suggest changing the curtains for plain blinds or even plain curtains in a heavy fabric. Textured fabric will do quite well here, I suppose.

Block the window?
Q
Comments (4)
Hi M J, It's always wiser to have as much Natural light and if possible ventilation too, as possible. It's way more essential than conditioned air (Ac). Blocking a window will be a permanent thing, your new layout might change in future with change in your lifestyle / needs. Hope this helps. Cheers, Pavan.
