Just a little ceramic information to share as a potter. Vitrified simply means the clay has become glass like by being fired to its proper maturing temperature. Usually ceramic tile means it is a lower temperature clay like earthenware or terra cotta. Porcelain is fired to the highest temperature and is more vitrified if you will. This usually means it is less porous to to absorb water and harder. Low fired ceramics with glazes much darker or lighter than the clay body will show chips easier. Rectified has to do with making the edges precise enough to fit smoothly together for less grout lines. So porcelain cost more to produce but it is more sturdy. All clay tiles should be vitrified.

In the Indian brands Somany, kajaria and nitco have a good range of wooden floor tiles. A mid teak wood color goes with most furniture. whether you use the plank format or square tile, it is a must to use spacer and grout. .

Concept 2 - Rustic tile/marble flooring with veneered wardrobe, bed and dressing table. Concept 3 - Wooden flooring with veneered/upholstered bed and laminate/ duco paint finished wardrobe and dressing table. Tip: Choose wooden textured laminates wisely. Avoid choosing from catalog and visit a store that has laminates on display. That way you can get an idea of the entire sheet of laminate, its colour, grains, texture and effect. Follow the same for veneer selections. If you do not want to take risks go for reconstructed veneers with straight lines. You may choose similar laminates as well.
