Hello Connie Sorry for the long delay in getting back to you. This particular glass panel was for a 36" door, which the glass measured 25 3/4" width. The cost on this panel was $ 1,100.00. The sandblasted imagery was put on a 3/8" glass which was laminated to a 1/4" panel of glass. Do you have a door already purchased? What is the opening size for the glass? And What is the thickness of the door?. Please feel free to contact me by phone as I'm not always on my computer. Cell # 805 368 3820
If you should have any other questions don't hesitate to ask
Ross~ I have a pocket door in my home. It is a 30 inch (I believe hollow) door that is 1 3/8 inches thick. I really, really love the glass you did. It would indeed fit in perfectly with the tropical bedroom we are planning. However, I am not able to afford $1,000 at this time. Thank you so much for your reply. I will save your cell number and pray we can get together soon.
Connie Thanks for the quick reply... When you say your door is hollow? Do you mean the existing door? Is the door solid without an opening for the glass? The door needs to be solid with an opening to support the glass. Just to give you an alternative idea to a carved / sandblasted look. I do laminated glass, and can laminate anything dry between two panes of glass. I've attached a picture of some bear grass which I laminated for a partition wall project. I can use dried bamboo leaves and grasses together for a realistic effect. Cost of this, for your panel would be around $650.00 to $ 800.00. Dependent on design. Let me know what you think of this?
Ross~ I like it! Yes, my existing door is hollow. Not sure if I can use your wonderful creations in my existing pocket door. Not quite ready to do anything at this time. I WILL be sure and keep your number and I can call and we can talk when I am ready. TY
