This space was very large for a 2nd floor bedroom and had an attached full bath. It was wonderful to see all my ideas pulled together through the use of art, paint, texture, fabrics, to the rug and furniture. The custom stovetop hood in this newly built kitchen addition was hand painted to echo the gold leaf details enriching the antique ceiling lantern. Note the lantern's Chinese red paint that catches the eye and enlivens the room with an unexpected splash of color.

The clients wanted a soothing retreat for their bedroom so stayed with a calming color on the walls and bedding. Soft silk striped window treatments frame the bay window and seating area.
