The powder room is dramatic update to the old and Corian vanity. The original mirror was cut and stacked vertically on stand-offs with new floor-to-ceiling back lighting. The custom 14K gold back splash adds and artistic quality. The figured walnut panel is actually a working drawer and the vanity floats off the wall.

The owners loved the styling and colors of their new kitchen (see "Island Affair" by Lenton Company) and wanted the new space to match. We removed the oak cabinetry and replaced with painted and glazed new cabinetry. The new cabinets also included pull out laundry hampers as well as a center column for additional storage at an easy and reachable height. Once we removed the large jetted tub, we were able to make room for a built-in bench with storage. This powder room was a fun project. We wanted to be sure that it coordinated with the living room which is nearby. We started out looking at wallpapers with geometric patterns and then settled on this beautiful classic look. Our clients are quite tall so the mirror is mounted high.
