The new front porch on the home extends the interior living space outward. At nearly 15 feet deep, the porch provides ample shade from the hot, Texas sun and is an inviting entrance to the home. The porch is a gathering place for the homeowners, their children and the neighbors.

Studio D - Danielle Wallinger
This three story loft development was the harbinger of the
revitalization movement in Downtown Phoenix. With a versatile
layout and industrial finishes, Studio D’s design softened
the space while retaining the commercial essence of the loft.
The design focused primarily on furniture and fixtures with some material selections.
Targeting a high end aesthetic, the design lead was able to
value engineer the budget by mixing custom designed pieces
with retail pieces, concentrating the effort on high impact areas.

Taking a nod from early pioneer homes, this breezway invites natural air currents to ventilate the home. The space is designed to connect two of the three exterior courtyards, to expand the footprint of the home into the landcape and make a comfortable ambiguity between the interior and exterior.
