Where Old Meets New. A stunning example of how great a modern style kitchen can look in a period London home. The minimalistic white on white colour scheme works effectively against the dark herringbone timber floor and the ornate cornice work and frosted windows are a total contrast to the glossy white countertops, yet work in perfect harmony.

In apparenza il fabbricato non aveva elementi di pregio. Da un’analisi storica della cartografia è risultato essere uno degli edifici più vecchi di Montebelluna (primi anni del 1600). Si è deciso quindi di evitare la demolizione e di provvedere ad una verifica della situazione muraria sotto intonaco. Il lavoro ha messo in luce una serie di segni e una minuta tessitura muraria che ci ha convinti della necessità di un restauro conservativo (anche se l’edificio non aveva nessun vincolo) con eliminazione della superfetazione posta a ovest. Oltre al restauro conservativo delle murature e delle strutture lignee con il progetto si è voluto recuperare gran parte del materiale derivati dalle rimozioni, eventualmente utilizzandolo in altro modo: esempio le tavole del pavimento per porte interne e arredi. The architect of the home, Drewett Brendon and Associates, set a bold sweeping wall to establish the introductory form, acting as a "portal" to the homes front entry. Building on that, Kirk Bianchi of Bianchi Design, an award winning phoenix pool builder and landscape designer, anchored a pot pedestal to ground the inviting stairs that float out to greet those that would approach, and set a Palo Brea tree to cast dynamic shadow play across the face of the wall.
