The house's stark beauty accented by the lush, green valley as a backdrop, made this project an exciting one for Spaces Designed. The focus was to keep the minimalistic approach of the house but make it warm, inviting with rich colors and textures. The steel and metal structure needed to be complimented with soft furnishings and warm tones.

This showhouse space was a unique 3rd floor room with a lot of light and beautiful views. It made for a great studio space or sitting area. A small wet bar makes an interesting area in a tight space. A mix of traditional details and modern furniture, art and fabrics make an interesting combination. A daybed serves as a sofa or guest bed. Custom paintings for the space by Dan Zinno. Constructed from specially designed steel containers, this unique container house looks out over the open expanse of the East China Sea. The Drummonds' Spey bath has a rough, raw cast iron finish on its body with polished cast iron legs, perfectly combining a classic look with an industrial edge befitting of the container house. The Eden WC suite, Kinloch basin and Dalby shower can be tucked away behind a canvas and wood screen if required, offering a flexible bathroom space for the family that share it.
