A completely custom home nestled in the woods on Philadelphia’s Main Line serves as a year round house for a family but with the ambiance of a retreat lodge. The couple and their young child travel extensively throughout the year and wanted their home to feel like they were still on vacation when they returned. A warm, neutral color palette and organic elements creates a spa-like retreat in this master bath. A vintage, metallic gold painted twig bench sits underneath an ivory vanity and provides the perfect seat to apply make-up. The fully mirrored wall reflects that amazing mountain vista. Ivory and beige Walker Zanger tiles form the room’s wainscot and meet the limestone floors. Keeping with the neutral tones the walls are aptly painted Sherwin William’s Favorite Tan providing the finishing touch to this warm and inviting space.

This master bath incorporates both elements of tradition and flair for the modern. The maple cabinetry at the vanity cabinets features a valance over the mirror with mini-can lighting. Under the mirror is a deco shelf that completes the frame for the mirror. The jetted tub is filled with natural light and is wrapped in tile and maple trim. The shower, which features 3 shower heads, has a custom built LED cylinder light in the center of the ceiling. A rain-water shower heads extends through the center of the cylinder. LED lighting lights the interior of the cylinder spilling multiple colors of light through the plexiglass bottom.
