Colourful, creative and undeniably cool, these toddlers’ bedrooms are packed with adventure, fun and imagination. Take a leaf out of this ideabook and create a wonderland for your little darling, too.

1. A themed bedroom
If you’re looking for inspiration for fun toddler bedroom furniture, this car-shaped bed and the scooter on the side is a good example. The printed curtains and the multihued carpet, too, lend an energetic vibe to the room.

Tip: If you want to add Disney or cartoon characters or other child-specific imagery for your toddler, you could opt for decals or wall stickers. These are more budget-friendly ways to give character to a room, as when the child outgrows them, you can peel them off.

The jungle theme gives this room a lively, energetic vibe. The bed is a comfortable space, the zebra holds a TV and the table (in the foreground) stores all toys.

Tip: Design a room that will grow with your child. Take, for instance, room themes – we all know how kids lose interest in things within a short time and that is why it is better to keep the toddler bedroom design timeless. Go for patterns that give a lively look and can be suitable even for a teenager’s room.

2. A whimsical, outdoor-inspired space
The little tent makes the entire bedroom’s vibe playful, fun and outdoorsy. The rug in the middle and the little seating on the left open up enough room for tea parties, running and playing.
3. Minimal and clean
Isn’t this toddler bedroom decor charming? The Scandi floor bed, the sofa and the two floor cushions ensure the room is comfortable and cosy. The soft pink and white scheme create a soothing atmosphere.

4. Soft colours and plenty of storage
Although tiny in size, toddlers need a lot of gear. This bedroom accommodates plenty of storage via the wardrobe, the chest of drawers and the side table next to the bed. The subtle prints, colours and little accessories keep the look of the room dainty and cutesy.

Tip: Colour-code, label or number containers so the baby’s tiny bits and pieces don’t get lost in large drawers. Utilise under-bed space with shallow baskets or wheeled crates, stack modular storage cubes at the foot of the bed.

5. A congenial, shared space
When siblings live together, a room can quickly turn into a war zone. A bunk bed, separate storage and enough area for play can deter a lot of arguments and fights.

6. Space-saving ideas
Small spaces don’t mean you need to compromise on good design. Here, the small square-footage of the room is masked with the sofa-cum-bed, the striped carpet which gives the illusion of expanded space and the white walls and ceiling that make the room seem airy and large. Plus, the slim table and chair right at the end of the bed help create a functional area without taking up too much space.
