don't like the linear aspect of the screening hedge but do like how the edges of the vegetation steps down in scale.

maybe we just work with an evergreen type hedge, instead of a fence, but not make it so ridged and linear.

another trellis type look. We couldn't build that high so proportions might be odd.

I like the form of the grasses and how it spills down to the lower vegetation. Not saying we need to use grasses, as I am not sure how much care they will need (trying not to have too much maintenance in that area). I do like the form.
