OK... but the wire wont be lower as it is fixed now. The wire in the pics below is the wall facing each other. They were leveled on equal height but the beam on one wall makes it seem a little above. But i think you guys are absolutely right that up and down lights wont look good there. I think you are right about down lights lessismoore. Would it look good if i go with two different lights on opposite walls??? it would look odd right.

pooja should not share wall with toilet and should face east. Rest is well designed to suit your requirements in the footprint. A large skylight above the stairwell will bring in more light. Full vastu compliance is not possible in limited city space and for practical reasons. For example, the grounding aspect of vastu is to be one with nature and do the least harm while building. Tentatively you can have a platform on the 6' wall with 21" depth do you can provide 16" deep baskets and one full height cabinet which can accommodate your microwave and other utilities. You will get around 42" of platform for hot plate, a sink etc.
