My office is slightly smaller 12x20. I have 4 cans on a grid in the four corners (roughly 30" out from the wall). With a desk lamp - I have plenty of light. Thinking about a ceiling fan and bed lamps. You should have way more light than you need for a bedroom. If possible switch the 2 cans along the wall (which are your pathway to the bath) on a separate switch and 3 way them to your bed and next to the bath. It sounds like the can above the bath door will work for the outside door as well. You can add a light to reach in closets ((We do a flat strip light mounted inside, over the closet door). Most fans have a handheld remote control. You can 3 way the 2 lights on the opposite wall to the door and bedside as well. With 9 ft ceilings- you won't have enough light for reading, but the table laps or wall mounted lamps will be useful there.

Hi, softyjane. You have a very pretty sheet set, and seem to like pink, so let's begin with a fresh coat of pink on all four walls. If someone can build you a little shelf to sit in the window, you could paint a basket, too, and put all your small items in it. Your food tray would make a nice picture background in the window. Then, some hooks on the right wall to hang your bags from will make things a bit roomier. White trim at the window will make it seem bigger, as well. If someone can do carpentry work for you, then you can create even more space by raising your bed high and making a loft bed with it. then you will have room below to put whatever you like - a chair, a desk, shelves - and place a curtain or bead strands in front for privacy. thank you for your advice, but the leatherite will only be used on the bed back rest and cupboard. The cupboard panel and all around the cupboard will be polish. As per your input, the bed back rest or the whole bed should be darker color ? the cupboard and the bed should be of the same leatherite color ? which color And the whole room should of which polish ?

If you go with the black bed, get a rustic and in fall colors night stand, that will stand up with the orange. Or that particular bedspread has golds, browns, and other shades... you might even be able to work a fall leaf red (sort of a dark faded red) in there for the night stand and the red into more accent pillows that would take the Halloween away. Stay away from bright limey greens and not picking up more of the orange or black and you could make it work well.
