@magspag Thanx for the advice. We wanted to save some cost by not replacing the floor tiles, as well as save by retaining the upper cabinet in its current grey shade. Guess we will go for all-black for the cabinets: both below and above the counter; and put in a new counter-top that contrasts--maybe, a light coloured granite or slate. Hello Saj shk, Always avoid using high gloss as oil stains are more prominently seen in such surface. Your grey laminate is too dull and shabby to be used in an area where you need more lively effect. Try to go for different combination. Now a days acrylic sheets are available with great finish and good colours and it is 90degree bendable so joints are smooth and finished. Design the o.h. cabinets in such a way that you utilise total height of the kitchen and Use profiles for the same.

@Cornerstone Designs 888.4851.444 Studio, Sorry but the design is finalized. Bright, Light and White. That was my idea for the kitchen. The only miss is the grooves in the cabinet doors. Apparently the design company I hired do not work with MDF or MDF with Duco Paint. For the tiles, gloss finish is something I am not looking for. And since the beveled edges are also unavailable, I am planning to go for basic matte white and black tiles from Johnson's. As below - Any suggestion with the colors though?

Hi, The house looks beautiful. According to me either HPL wooden cladding with white will suit this elevation design as mentioned above by Pravin ji or another option can be use of dark grey textured exterior wall paint for the groves with white and wooden ceiling. Regards, Priyanka Kalra
