New couch ideas in a light camel color that are super comfortable
I need to upgrade the look of our dated couch. But Im fighting a man with him wanting a recliner within the couch like this one has (3 othe them!) and that this is an exteremly comfy couch its just way dated and too dark. I want to get away from the sectional look and need a much lighter, worn leather. My main issue is trying to find a soft cushy seat maybe feather filled that has possibly a chaise lounge on one side or something that my husband can put his feet on thats not too bulky. They are all so hard when we sit in them! I think I should go with two couches? Any suggestions on high quality couch companies? We dont mind paying for something that is super comfy and will last years. We have to stick w leather do to hairy dogs. Rug will be getting chucked as well... Ill need help with that too. Was looking at Omnia Aspen collection?

Comments (44)I like second plan! That space will fit the wardrobe perfectly. Take all colors from the art. The colors can be lighter or darker than the colors you see in art. Take "Venice" with you to paint store and they might be able to help you choose good colors. Idea: paint four walls the same and see if you like that. Comments (44)You could also bring in some texture with bamboo sticks or decorative branches and help balance a bit the height of your room with small scale furniture. Spray paint them if you find the perfect size and shape but they aren't the color that you need. Consider a movable coffee table - I see 2 recliners that may necessitate some table shifting?- an area rug large enough to incorporate all the seating, rather than just a hearth rug, and enclosed storage for your electronics. The best way to cozy up a space, without spending a lot is through - Art - I feel the Giant picture on the wall is substracting from the space rather than adding to it. You can replace it with something beautiful that you like and/ or a medium sized framed mirror - This will reflect all that beautiful light in your apartment and make it more spacious. You can add a wall hanging in the empty wall space near the bar area. Rugs - A giant rug which accomodates bothe th sofas rather than just the coffee table. This will also make the room look bigger. However, It is important to buy a plain or maximum two tone rug for this effect to work. If buying a rug with lots of detail, please buy it in a lighter color. Cushions - Lost of colorful fluffy cushions in various shapes and textures and a couple of throws wil help balance out the beigeyness of the sofas. Lighting - Adding fairylights in the balcony and a couple of tall lamps in corners will help too. If you can, replace the central light with a chandelier of your choice. Plants - A few indoor plants add that homey feeling while having the added bonus of supplying oxygen. You can also opt for fake plants, if you don't want to buy real ones. Common color scheme - This is the most important aspect because even after buying new furniture, it may not look good if everything is mis-matched. To make the room feel more spacious, you can shift the light in the corner next to sofa, after removing the sofa from the corner a bit. You can also just replace the single seater with a luxurious Armchair of your choice , tilted to face the tv and put the small table next to it to turn it into a viewing area/ reading nook. 3 months agolast modified: 3 months agoIf you're looking for a brighter, lighter space, see how a warm white paint and changes in accessories can transform your room. Replace the island pendants with clear glass or no glass so that you don't have the yellowish cast from the lights.
