Design Dilemma Bathroom

Master Bathroom Help - Finish for Fixtures

We are renovating our bathroom right now and going with a marble look tile for floors and walls and calacutta sol quartz countertop. So mainly white with a little grey. The caninets will be a natural finish. I’m having a hard time picking out finishes for the shower head and tub/sink faucets. I’ve looked for pictures but not having any success.

I like Chrome for a timeless look in any bathroom.

I like chrome too. I can’t find any pictures of a bathroom with white floors, light wood cabinets and chrome or black fixtures/finishes though.

Thanks for your comments Also have a question about the master. We will have double sinks about 4 feet apart on a long wall. Shall we put ..... 1. two framed mirrors with scones on each side (4 total) OR 2. one long mirror along the whole span with scones (2 total) OR 3. 2 framed mirrors with overhead above each mirror. I want it to look modern and yet not break the bank. PS we already have recessed lights in the bathroom.

I currently have the same problem! I wanted that but the tiler didn't do it. I saw it after the shower was finished tiling (when I got home from work). They told me it was too difficult to cut the porcelain tile in a triangle shape and install. I did some research and I can't find a product that can hold weight, even if it is just to shave my leg! I suppose I should have had a triangle corner with a base (that wasn't floating) but I think it is too late. Hopefully someone can tell both of us a better answer. Just realize this was posted July 2014....... where you able to solve the problem??????

Thank you nagadeepti, but there is an issue, my father has already finished with the basic foundation,sump, and pillars when I tried to tell him about the option he said that its not possible to change the plan , Please let me know if there are any other option , i have included the ground floor plan as well ,I thought of swapping the bedroom to kitchen in first floor , let me know if its possible according to vastu since its north facing site with roads on both north and south . we have made slight changes instead of full utility in ground floor its only till kitchen , bedroom is extended to make 9*10, and kink for fridge is removed . balcony in second floor is removed . Kindly help if there are any other suggetion to make look house spacious. stairs to the terrace from outside has to be there. I know iam asking for more in a small space.but please help. finally this is the elavation we have decided on with a little bit of modification like extended balconies. Thank you all but my effort is just to make everything good for a little house for my 1.3 yr old daughter. Anam

I love chrome it is clean looking , adds a bit of sparkle and is timeless . IMO all things needed in a bathroom. The wood cabinet is a great addition to your space it adds softness .

I also love chrome and the fact you added some wood, I think chrome will look great. Just wondering what kind of pulls or knobs will you have on your cabinets if any?

I’ve seen lots of brushed gold tones. They are very pretty. The pix you show have gold everywhere and I think it’s a bit overkill. Personally I feel gold is trendy and I like classics such as chrome or polished nickel.

The pic you posted below of the shower stall with brass fixtures is not a room with a marble look. The hard surfaces are a very warm tile, the paint is warm too, so the brass makes sense. My guess is your marble look has a cool tone to it and likely your paint will too. If so, I think polished chrome is the right choice for metals.
