Very small kitchen you could do an under cabinet ventless exhaust that has filters that you will nedd to change periodically but that way you will have a bit more cabinet space.

Hello there, you have got ample space between walls which are void of top storage units. Try installing the hob near the microwave and use the existing duct to cover the chimney vent. The only civil work involved is drilling a hole for the chimney in the wall area below lintel beam near the window. The only interior work added is an extra small top unit for covering the chimney . hi I want to connect the 12"12" exhaust window to the 6" PVC pipe to carry the kitchen smoke to the other end. I tried to use garbage polythene bag using the masking and cello tapes but when I switch on the exhaust fan the tape comes out and all the smoke pass through that opening. the 12"12" exhaust window is made up of iron. please suggest some ideas.

there is no 'effective' solution that costs less than 3k and still looks good. you can build a plywood boxing and paint it the same as the wall. Even that will cost around 3 k at least, especially when a carpenter comes to execute just this one job
