hi
I want to connect the 12"12" exhaust window to the 6" PVC pipe to carry the kitchen smoke to the other end. I tried to use garbage polythene bag using the masking and cello tapes but when I switch on the exhaust fan the tape comes out and all the smoke pass through that opening. the 12"12" exhaust window is made up of iron. please suggest some ideas.

You can build a frame around it, place trim over it, or box it in with drywall or similar. Just be sure you have adequate distance between heat and combustibles, and also that you have adequate ventilation and a good fan. Check local building codes.
