If it's a professional advice by your architect then surely they must have a plan in mind but if it's just a wishful thinking.. then please avoid it. Hi Purvi, for open plan kitchen you can change the fridge door position to front facing instead of balcony facing. One more option is, you can plan for pocket doors. The advantage of that is if you wish to have the open feeling you can keep it open or close it. My personal advise will be, instead of asking for individual queries you should consult a person and take complete details as per your requirements.

Hi Abinash Here are a few ideas for your basin area: - De-clutter the counter top. Remove all unnecessary items and store the rest in baskets under the counter. If possible, put up a wall mounted soap dispenser. - Add baskets under the counter where you have some storage space. They'll look cohesive and you can't see the mess. - Add a bigger mirror to the wall, a wider one. - Add a light right on top of the mirror. Tentatively you can have a platform on the 6' wall with 21" depth do you can provide 16" deep baskets and one full height cabinet which can accommodate your microwave and other utilities. You will get around 42" of platform for hot plate, a sink etc.
