OnePlan has a point -- people are notoriously unaware when attention is elsewhere -- like getting to the front door. Laying pavers in a different color/pattern/size (pick an option that appeals to you) that will be the same level as the remaining pavers would give you the distinctive path. Shame to cover the pavers; can they be removed without destroying? Alternative that comes to mind is to create a barrier along that line. A railing mounting on the pavers either 3' high or 6' high -- pick your medium. metal posts w/railing. glass panels in a framwork. shoji screens. colorful curtains hung from above. A photo from further back, showing the front of the house would help suggestions.

I like the wardrobe/divan idea.Put it flat on its back with open shelves facing up .And put wooden covers with handles,so that it becomes a makeshift bed/divan with storage.It could be a cupboard with long divisions.You could put shelves there.Flat on its back(divan), standing the way it is(dresser) or standing up on its height by width side(wardrobe),any which way it is eminently usable.I do not go by the name"interior designer/architect"

Hey! Normally the door and the trim can differ in colour if there is another element pulling the trim colour on it. for instance if you have baseboards (which India doesn't) or wainscoting. Then you can use the colour of the trim on those elements. Since yours is a single unit, go for a cohesive whole with the trim and the door. In case you like paint, go for PU, it'll give you an excellent finish and will last long. I personally love the while on your doors. so maybe go with a warm white core laminate? alternatively you could also select a colour from something in your living cum dining space!
