Do you have any photos of the doors to help determine the best treatment for them?

Hi Kareena, Frames would have to be done first. We normally we do 3 coats of paint. After first two coats of paint; door frames, electrical fixtures, and other such fixtures are fixed in place and covered with paper so that they don't get spoiled. mostly Indians uses brown varnish paints for their main wooden doors....I even don't know why they didn't use other colors...even in my house doors are given brown color wooden texture...

Hey! Normally the door and the trim can differ in colour if there is another element pulling the trim colour on it. for instance if you have baseboards (which India doesn't) or wainscoting. Then you can use the colour of the trim on those elements. Since yours is a single unit, go for a cohesive whole with the trim and the door. In case you like paint, go for PU, it'll give you an excellent finish and will last long. I personally love the while on your doors. so maybe go with a warm white core laminate? alternatively you could also select a colour from something in your living cum dining space!
