Keya, glad you decided to take the one reader's idea about moving the armoires in front of windows that you don't need and giving the bed a wall of its own! And, yes, you can have Roman shades on one wall and layered drapes on the other. When I had drapes made for my tall sitting room windows/doors, I had them use the same fabric for the Roman shades for the smaller windows on the other wall. For me personally, in these older Indian homes with all the odd nooks and niches in the walls, perhaps it would be more soothing to have a light/med tone paint on the walls that blends with the drapes/blinds for an 'uninterrupted' look, and I would use the same color on ceiling and beams. (but that is just my thought) I would start the process with a large carpet with your favorite colors, then choose your Bedcover & cushions, then your wall paint and fabric for drapes/blinds ..Not certain what style you like, but if you really like a particular Ethnic bedcover fabric, you can always have them stitched into curtains or Roman shades too. use glass with water proof panels which are water resistant as well. here soft closing fittings would be nicer. may choose diff glass to enhance the beauty or keep it opaque so clutter inside the cabinets is not visible.

Hi Anurag, Black counter top is very common and you can go for ample combinations like light and dark grey, yellow , red, green ...and their combinations will look great. So no need to worry..go for any colorful combinations. Regards, Sujoy

I have no personal experience with these types of laminates. Got this information from brand website and share this based on brand reputation. Although I read this information one more time to be more clear about this and also I want to mention one more thing that they nowhere claims to kill corona virus. It claims that it kills more than 99% viruses which can be of any type. But there are a few misconceptions among us due to certain preconceived notions. For instance, when we hear the word "virus", our mind straightaway goes to corona virus. You might be right about your brand marketing thought, but if anyone have any experience these types of laminates, then we'll get real results about these types of claims.
