Ritika, you can go for PU finish.

Thanks @Cornerstone - is it good study table and table tops from durability perspective and also does it become yellow with time ( looking at a 10 yrs time frame)

If you are looking for maintenance free work you may need to look at laminates. Most of other materials need more care.

Paints are prone to scratches if made with sharp objects. Day to day usage should be ok.
Glass tops usually help avoid scratches.

The finish you see here in two pictures in White's can be achieved in two ways

1. ICA duco paint range along with pearl top coat.
2. ICA PU matt which is long lasting and more finished. regular use this is recommended

Veneer with White PU is a great Option. Alternatively you can go with Duco which is slightly cheaper than PU. Laminates always have a sharp edge unless done with the right expertise. Fabrics, if going with white, should be scotch-guarded. Mostly, white PU will work on table tops too, but if you want to use a sturdy option, go for white lacquered glass or White marble.

@gc studio- white lacquered glass is placed on top of what?

Pu/duco can be done on mdf

Hey Ritika, Lacquered Glass can be placed on any table top. The surface below the glass can be just a laminated surface (but we usually finish it well)

yes it looks good on ply as well but ply is base material on top of ply pro use mdf, veneer before applying base material of duco or pu so make sure you follow these steps.

in indian household white color furniture or wall get very dirty you just keep cleaning it whole day it is biggest task to maintain it
