need suggestions for my dining area wall

as per vastu, placing a mirror in the dining room such that it reflects the dining table is very auspicious.please suggest how can I use mirrors on the wall artistically..

Is this wall above ground or in a basement? Water penetration isn't good so you need to find an inspector (home insp or mold insp) who can examine your roof, gutters, siding and who has an "thermal imaging camera". Lesley is on the mark about mold which needs moisture to grow. So, have a pro get up on your roof especially in the area near the water stains. Another tip, get it done before winter and bank on tearing out that wall to treat the wood studs with bleach to kill anything.

Hello Vineetha, God is everywhere ! If you are going to use the room as a study room then you may very well keep the Pooja room in the same room. Its will be your sacred corner and hope it will bring peace, prosperity and knowledge to the family. That room is already very small in fact at 3200*2300 it is smaller than your kitchen ?Trimming a section from the smallest room to create Pooja room defies our understanding. If you are keen on Vastu- Yes, it is better to have square/rectangle rooms. North east corners are ideal for Pooja and Study. Thanks, Nitin Cornerstone Designs Bangalore.

Hello Gopa, You can do a partition with plywood on wooden frame. Go for a door with hinges as there is no benefit of a sliding door in terms of light . What is your intent for having a openable vs sliding door. Please be aware that after making an additional room the living room will look dark and long/ narrow. You can have a transome on the door in case privacy is not much of an issue. You will however have to depend on artificial lighting in case a full partition is done. You can take those in round sizes as a set of 3 and place them in diagonally.
