Your bed is beautiful -- absolutely love it and the way it is framed by those windows! ... Though it actually feels a bit more masculine to me with the cleans lines and the weightiness of it. But still gorgeous either way.

Not sure about the wallpaper ... I think it is pretty, but I can't quite imagine all that pattern showing through the cutouts in the back of the headboard. Is it too late to change that decision?

out of the pendants that you posted, I think I like the crystal globes the best with your bed frame. But I would also probably consider something a bit more clean lined, like a drum pendant.

Very cool bed! I would not go with the wallpaper ... at least not behind the bed. The cutout acts as a huge piece of art and it's pattern will clash with the wallpaper's pattern.

I would just paint the room a beautiful color (teal? grayish blue?) .. will act as a backdrop for the headboard.

These pendants would add a bit of drama that you wanted and they mimic the pattern of the headboard:

I think I might like the black chandy hanging in the center of the bed coming right through the open top of it. Looks like electrical and switches may already be installed on either side of the bed. In that case try something like these.

put the wallpaper on a different wall, and just paint that wall in one of the colors from the paper.

I dont plan to wallpaper the area behind the cut work on my bed, since it wont really show through. Just on the remaining part of the wall, surronding the windows and everything. U think that is a bad idea?

I do like the idea of using one solid colour behind the bed, one of the pinks in the wallpaper maybe. But this could mean that i have no where else to use this wallpaper in the house :|

Ive attached more images of my room. The room opens into a tiny area for the vanity table and mirror. But im not too sure if wallpapering this area would look nice since it is a very narrow space and the wallpaper might be overwhelming.

Also I could really use some advice on what coloured blinds/curtains would look nice.

As for the lights I think I will go with a simple all black or globe chandeliers. since im not particularly fond of pendant lights and wall fixtures. But yes I really appreciate the suggestions!

I think I see a great area for your wallpaper. Inside the trimmed out sections of that large window wall! You can even add some additional trim pieces easily to make it fancier for your fancy paper, then fill the inside of the trimmed sections with your wallpaper. It will make that a stunning wall.

As much as I love your suggestion, I dont think I can do that since those are actually cupboards and storage drawers in wood, and the exposed rectangular area of the (white) wall is where the air-conditioner will go.

Alternatively I could wallpaper the vanity area maybe? Iwas originally thinking about a mirrored vanity table. Then paint the rectangular framed space one of the colours on the wallpaper (such as magenta) and place a mirror there.

Very unique and amazing bed. I would not go with any wallpaper. I would do an accent wall with a greyish color on the wall where the headboard goes.

What about using the wallpaper under glass top vanity.

I love the globe chandeliers. I actually have the same ones in my bedroom ideabook to use as bedside pendants.

I am not very fond of grey. Im looking for something more vibrant :) And the wallpapering the area beneath the glass top vanity is something I've been considering myself, except I thought I would wallpaper the entire wall leaving the framed space for the mirror.

How about I wallpaper the bedroom ceiling instead? Or is that going to take away from the bed too?

If you love that wallpaper, use it in bathroom. Not really right for behind bed. I would go a drum style chandelier. In a silk pale gold. Your bed looks zen or Asian to me. I love it. But, you don't. Need to much with it. Keep it simple a more formal drape on windows, color would depend on wall color and bedding. I'm thinking a dramatic peacock satin. Use a lighter same tone on walls a rich teal. Ceiling can be gold leaf. With alight that cast shadows on ceiling at night. Then your wall paper will tie in. Furn should be mirrored.

How big is your closet? Is the vanity part of it? I could see making a full walk-in dressing room and using the WP there. It is such a show-stopper that I'm hoping you can find a way to use it in a room where it becomes the true focal point it is meant to be. It just is too much with the wonderful bed. You do know you can wallpaper wood, and doors, if properly prepared?

Since you have the pattern against the wall I would opt to add a hanging drum or mini-chandelier near the center or end of the bed. I like the suggestion for a gold drum or a little crystal chandelier would look feminine and dainty. Here is one pretty option we sell at www.mylampshadeworks.com

Since your bed is inset you could paper up to that edge and then paint behind the headboard the color in background of paper. Beautiful room.
